Lavender Lemonade

Prepare to need a double batch of this mouth watering sweet but tart lavender flavored lemonade!

Ingredients:

3 cups granulated sugar

3 cups water

1/4 c Hambly Farms dried lavender

4 cups fresh lemon juice (about 20 lemons)

4 cups of water

Directions:

Bring sugar and 3 cups water to a boil, keep stirring until sugar is dissolved. Stir in 1/4 c Hambly Farms Culinary Lavender. Remove from heat and let steep a minimum of 10 minutes (I let mine steep for hours it only enhanced the flavor). Strain out the lavender buds and let cool. Stir in lemon juice and add 2 cups of water. Determine if the sweet to tart ratio is what you like! If needed, add in the remaining water.

Serve over ice and options for a garnish are a lemon slice or wedge and dried lavender sticks. Some use fresh lavender sprigs too.

Enjoy!
