Things are changing at the farm…
Full bloom has passed, but that doesn’t mean
there’s nothing left to wander through, harvest, and gaze at!
We’re still harvesting!
What’s In Bloom NOW
As we warned, full bloom is finished but we still have lavender blooming. We have intentionally spaced out the growth of the plants for three reasons:
Since we hand-harvest ALL of our lavender, so we really appreciate being able to
focus on just a couple of varieties instead of the WHOLE farm all at once.
2. Lavender (and other florals) give the bees and the rest of the eco-system fuel to keep running at its best.
With plants growing from May-early fall, we’re able to give the bees pollen and nectar for a much longer season.
3. A longer season of growth means more opportunities for YOU to come visit the farm!
We’ll have flowers blooming at all times through the end of the season.
So, what IS in bloom RIGHT NOW?
Grosso Lavender
Strongly scented and very oily, we use this variety to make our lavender essential oil and our lavender flower water.
Medium purple in color and makes for a beautiful and aromatic bouquet!

Community & Collaboration
“The best skin and body care products are made from the freshest, natural plant-based ingredients and we are lucky to source a lot of our ingredients locally!” says Martha of local body care company, Life Elements. We couldn’t agree more, and that’s why we’re so thrilled to partner with other local businesses like them! We proudly supply essential oil and lavender buds for some of their best-selling products like the Healing Honey Stick, Lip Goo, CBD Foot Soak, and CBD Bath Bombs! Love Notes…
Thank you to everyone who has had a chance to visit the farm this summer! What a busy July it has been!
With lavender u-pick experiences 4 days a week, twice as many plants to harvest, and two BIG events, we’ve been running around trying to keep up! Last weekend, we celebrated Open Farm Days with the rest of the local farms along the SLO County Farm Trail and we had so much fun!
Now, we’re almost halfway through the CA Mid State Fair and I can’t believe how quickly summer is passing by!
If you haven't been out, there is still time!
The harvest season is beginning to wane and with Milton heading back to teaching soon, we’ll be offering our guided experiences on Saturday & Sunday only beginning August 18th. Don’t worry, we’ve got a couple of weeks.
The farm remains open Friday through Monday 9-5 for your own lavender u-pick experience as long as we have plants for you to harvest.
Either way, we’d really love to see you!
Love,
Gina & Milton
