Exfoliating Lavender Scrub
As the days grow cooler and the pace of life begins to slow in late September, there's no better time to indulge in the soothing and rejuvenating experience of crafting your own homemade exfoliating lavender scrub!
All it takes is:
1 cup of Epsom salt
1/4 cup of olive or coconut oil
10-15 drops of lavender essential oil
2-3 tablespoons of dried lavender buds
It’s a delightful way to welcome the autumn months with self-care and relaxation!
Lavender Apple Cider
Warm your soul with the fusion of sweet floral lavender notes + hot apple cider!
Makes 4 servings:
4 cups of apple cider
1-2 tablespoons of dried lavender buds
1-2 tablespoons of honey (we recommend Sierra Honey Farms)
Cinnamon sticks
Combine all four ingredients in a large pot on the stove. Set heat to low and bring to a simmer. Experiment and adjust the amount of lavender and honey to suit your taste preferences.
Make Your Own Essential Oil Diffuser
Gorgeous home decor doesn’t need to cost an arm and a leg, and if you do it right, it can not only beautify your home but fragrance it, too!
Supplies:
1) A small glass or ceramic container with a narrow
opening at the top
2) Reed diffuser (bamboo skewers work too!)
3) Lavender essential oil (or other favorite oils)
We recommend using an empty perfume bottle, a small vase, or even a mason jar with a hole in the lid. You can add stones inside, ribbons outside, or other small items for a unique touch.
