Workshop prep has begun!

We’re just two months away from opening day and last week, we released tickets for our first three workshops that will take place among the lavender fields. That means that pressure is ON to get everything ready for you to visit!

What does it mean to be a
working family farm?

Well, for starters, it means that it’s just us up here creating the dream! Milton and I spend every day doing farm chores and working on projects - and yet there’s always another thing to do!

While we try to make sure everything is just right, you might spot a half-done project every now and then when we have to stop to prioritize our visitors.

We don’t have ‘days off’, but we love what we do and we’re so lucky to often get to do it with our adult kids!

What’s going on in the fields?

We’ve had some good rain these last couple of months and that’s good news for our plants, as the summers are HOT and it’s important they are able to soak up enough hydration.

We’ve also had some great sunshine and, much like your yard, this rain & sun has created some grass/weed growth that we are managing!

What else is new this year?

One of the things we’re most excited about this year is our brand new demo garden!

The demo garden will be filled with plants we don't grow out in our fields so that visitors can see what other varieties look like, how big they will get, what they smell like, when the bloom time is, and what shape they will take.

If you’re curious what kind of lavender to grow in your garden, the demo garden will help you to visualize the options we discuss during the Lavender Farm Experience.

Evenings on the Farm

Imagine yourself strolling down a green path between rows of bright purple blooms.

A gentle breeze rustles your hair and the sweet scent of lavender fills your nostrils.

Out of your basket, you retrieve your favorite beverage and the snack box you just purchased from the farm store and you settle down at a picnic table with views of rolling hills just as the sun begins to dip in the sky…

That’s what Friday nights will be like on the farm this season!
We’re excited to offer this new opportunity for you to enjoy the farm after-hours.
Reservations required, available from 4pm-7pm, Fridays only.

Opening Day is May 12th!

We hope to welcome you to the farm, show you around, and inspire you to learn more about farming, lavender, and the all-natural products we create!

Open Workshops:

May 12th: Cheese Box Class & Tour

May 18th: Yoga on the Farm

May 19th: Grow-Your-Own Lavender Garden
